Consensus best unit in the release meta. Heaven Splitter deals 500% Damage in a triple-range slash and his passives clear waves while shredding bosses.

Cursed Lover (Pure Love)

Yuta (Jujutsu Kaisen)

Copies and stores up to four Active Abilities and fires a 300% Damage Love Beam, making him incredibly flexible and one of the strongest damage units.

Valcrad (Unleashed)

Alucard (Hellsing)

Gains Crit, Range scaling, bonus damage to bleeding enemies and summons. Coffin Trap stuns a boss for 7 seconds, giving elite damage and control.

S+ Tier Units

S+

Bon (Purgatory)

Ban (Seven Deadly Sins)

Top meta support. His food buffs Damage, Cooldown, Range and other stats while also increasing the money earned from defeated enemies.

Starku (Primordial)

Coyote Starrk (Bleach)

Strong Mythic damage with a powerful burst nuke that many other Mythics lack. Switches between twin-pistol (magic, line AOE) and swordsmanship (physical) modes; swapping modes resets his active ability cooldowns.

Igritto (Commander)

Igris (Solo Leveling)

World Boss unit that becomes a monster once Frenzy triggers, gaining +35% Damage and -20% Cooldown as a permanent residual buff.

Goju (Honored One)

Gojo (Jujutsu Kaisen)

Nullifies attacks against himself, slows enemies, and uses Time Stop to control threats. One of the best meta support units on a team.

Tango (Star of Festivals)

Tengen (Demon Slayer)

Raid reward unit. Applies Brittle to enemies and can stun them for 15 seconds, giving him standout control for a Ground DPS.

S Tier Units

S

Noroto (Linked)

Naruto (Naruto)

Gains Damage, Cooldown and Range during Nine-Tails' Cloak, with every third attack adding an AoE burst. Major power spike in longer battles.

Tojei (Sorcerer Killer)

Toji (Jujutsu Kaisen)

Strong boss damage and Neutral typing hit different enemy types reliably. Cannot receive buffs, which caps his ceiling as a meta DPS.

Vegita (Super)

Vegeta (Dragon Ball)

Strong Hill unit with good combat performance and multi-placement potential. Becomes stronger with Goku nearby.

Aneko (Queen)

Esdeath (Akame ga Kill)

Full AoE unit that deals more Damage as enemies lose health, making her excellent against groups and a contender for best Hill unit.

Shinaru (Butterfly Dance)

Shinobu (Demon Slayer)

Strong meta support with useful team utility, slightly below Bon and Goju because her overall impact is less broad.

Yoto (Calamity)

Yato (Noragami)

Solid overall combat value that stays useful through longer stages, though without the standout damage or utility of the tiers above.

Melio (Assault)

Meliodas (Seven Deadly Sins)

Petrify, Burn, Slow, Damage buffs and more through his Commandments. He cycles effects, so he cannot reliably provide one specific debuff.

Roxi (Mage)

Roxy M. Greyrat (Mushoku Tensei)

Top meta Hill support per the August 2026 official tier list. Every second attack applies Drenched, slowing the target and making it take more magic damage.

Mykie (Toman)

Mikey (Tokyo Revengers)

Infinite Mansion milestone unit — an unlock chance at Rank 100 and a guaranteed drop at Floor 450 (see the modes page for the full milestone table). One of the game's rare dual Nature/Ground units whose Dark Impulse passive grants +25% Damage and -25% Cooldown for 15s every 30s. In team slot one, units in his range gain +1% Damage per kill up to +10%; the buff doesn't stack across multiple Mikeys and is removed when he's sold.

A Tier Units

A

Itsugo (Dangai)

Ichigo (Bleach)

Strong base Damage that increases as enemies travel farther along the path, excellent on longer maps with extended progression.

Konpatchi (Unleashed)

Kenpachi (Bleach)

Good Damage that becomes more effective against weakened enemies, helping finish targets and making him a solid offensive pick.

Gyutari (Upper Moon)

Gyutaro (Demon Slayer)

Full AoE with Poison and Blood Cut attacks that explode for extra damage around enemies. Strong vs large groups, weaker than top DPS.

Goki (Super 3)

Goku (Dragon Ball)

Excellent boss killer. Builds Fighting Spirit stacks for extra Damage and Crit Chance, becoming very strong in boss-focused stages.

Bluma (Data Analyst)

Bulma (Dragon Ball)

Top farming unit. Training Data eventually provides a 30% Income boost, especially valuable in Infinite Mode where economy scales.

Zeldo (Piety)

Zeldris (Seven Deadly Sins)

Can increase his own Damage and works well alongside Meliodas. Straightforward but lacks the utility of stronger meta DPS units.

Sosuke (Eternal)

Sasuke (Naruto)

Each attack builds 10 Hatred (max 50) and switches him between Lightning Mode (Momentum stacks: extra Damage and Cooldown Reduction) and Amaterasu Mode (Black Flame burn). After 3 full mode rotations he unleashes Susano'o for 200% AoE damage.

B Tier Units

B

Itsoda

Uryu Ishida (Bleach)

Useful Hill unit for covering airborne enemies from elevated positions. Good early on, but stronger Hill units provide more value.

Leorio

Leorio (Hunter x Hunter)

Refunds part of upgrade costs for units upgraded within his Range, making him a farming specialist rather than a combat unit.

C Tier Units

C

Tranko

Trunks (Dragon Ball)

Gains 15% Damage and 15% Cooldown Reduction while 5 or more enemies are in Range. A solid budget carry from the Unit Banner.

Hido

Hidan (Naruto)

Basic attacks build ritual stacks; at 10 stacks he unleashes a ritual that applies Brittle to up to 5 enemies at the cost of a brief self debuff.

Choto

Choso (Jujutsu Kaisen)

Kills build blood stacks; at full stacks his next attack gains 20% Range and 35% Damage.

Kengako

Kaigaku (Demon Slayer)

Damage fluctuates between -10% and +30%, making him an inconsistent but occasionally strong budget pick.

Rose

Estarossa (Seven Deadly Sins)

Steals 5% Damage from up to 5 nearby allies to empower himself, stacking up to +40%. Strong alone, but weakens the units around him.

Semanu

Sanemi (Demon Slayer)

Deals 50% bonus elemental damage, making him an interesting counter pick in elemental matchups.

Toki

Muichiro Tokito (Demon Slayer)

Has a 25% chance to attack again immediately after each attack, giving him a solid damage ceiling for a Legendary.

Kingo

King (Seven Deadly Sins)

Each attack deals an extra 10% magic damage on top of his regular hit.

Neli

Nelliel (Bleach)

Attacks have a chance to hit weak points for 20% bonus damage, offering some of the best budget burst potential.

Bolthunder

Gilthunder (Seven Deadly Sins)

All of his skill, attack and passive cooldowns are reduced by 15%, letting an Epic fire more often than expected.

Itsumaru

Ichimaru Gin (Bleach)

Damage scales up the farther enemies travel from him, up to +25%. Useful on long, winding maps.

Kashi

Kakashi (Naruto)

Attacks have a 35% chance to stun the target for 1.25 seconds, giving an Epic real crowd-control value.

Meywa

Miwa (Jujutsu Kaisen)

Gains 10% Crit Chance, and critical hits apply Brittle to enemies for 5 seconds.

Noriba

Nobara (Jujutsu Kaisen)

Each consecutive attack on the same target adds 5% Range, resetting when she switches targets.

Shanji

Shinji (Bleach)

Deals 15% bonus damage to enemies he has slowed, rewarding a slow-stacking build.

Tango

Tanjiro (Demon Slayer)

Gains 20% Crit Chance as a solid early Ground DPS. This is the Epic banner Tanjiro unit — not the Mythic Tango (Star of Festivals) earned from Raids.

Update 1 (Re:Zero) Units

Update 1 (September 6, 2026) added a Re:Zero-themed batch of units to Anime Origins. Their community tier rankings were still being tested and had not been published in a verified tier list at the time of writing, so we have not folded them into the release-tier table above.

  • Banner units (summon): Subaru, Emilia and Julius — chase them through the normal summon system.
  • Event units (free grind): Reinhardt (via the Scorpion Key) and Shaula (Pleiades Tower drops) — both farmable without spending Gems.

Full drop rates, stage routes and the Return by Death mechanic are covered in our Pleiades Tower event guide.
